M. Bryon Barnhill
M. Bryon Barnhill was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas on December 14, 1995, and has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since December 31, 2001. In addition, Mr. Barnhill returned to law school from 2015- 2017 and obtained his LLM in Business Transactions from the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Barnhill is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and has been a Member of the College of the State Bar. Mr. Barnhill is also licensed to practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims. Bryon got his feet wet working for two different local attorneys, then went out on his own October 1, 1999. He has worked hard to develop a top of the line family/criminal/juvenile law practice in the local area and is now extending his practice to Business Law. He has noticed a need by local business owners for the one on one service, with attention to detail, that they can receive from a small firm. Due to the demand, Mr. Barnhill has recently expanded the business to include representing business owners, both large and small. He slowly and carefully put together what he feels is the top legal team in the area.
Kyle James Dennis
Kyle Dennis - has been practicing law in the state of Texas since 2018, following his graduation from Baylor University School of Law. Kyle is a certified General and Family Law Mediator in the State of Texas. He participated heavily in the Baylor University School of Law Pro Bono Veterans Clinic, assisting local veterans by drafting wills and other documents to help prepare for the future. In 2018, Kyle received the Boots on the Ground award for outstanding Pro Bono service to the veterans of McLennan County. He has applied his training and skills at the Law Office of M. Bryon Barnhill in the areas of Family Law, Child Welfare Law, and Business and Estate Planning. Kyle, a native Californian, lives in Waco with his wonderful wife Bradi, their English Bulldog, Ginny, and Black Tuxedo cat, Willow. When he's not hard at work serving our clients, you will likely find Kyle on the golf course, playing his ukulele, or playing board games with family and friends.Susan Wendele Chandler
Susan Wendele Chandler- Office Manager, Trained Mediator, Paralegal, Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Legal Assistant's Division, since December 31, 1998. Graduated Phi Theta Kappa from CTC in 1992. Resident of the Harker Heights community since her arrival with her then military spouse and two sons in 1987. Susan has been working in the local legal community since before her graduation in 1992, and joined Bryon at ground zero beginning on October 1, 1999. Susan runs the office, billing, and directs all the family law cases. She also does all the screening, so chances are you will talk to her first when you call to schedule your initial consultation.Jean Baker
is the receptionist at The Law Office of M. Bryon Barnhill PLLC. Jean has a daughter and four grandchildren who she loves to spoil. Jean and her husband Randy love to travel and Jean is an avid golfer, gardener, and gym enthusiast. Jean runs her business "Beautiful Bling By Jean" in her down time when not taking care of clients and lawyers. Jean spent many years in California providing excellent care and service for a large law firm before relocating to Texas. is a Family Law paralegal at the Law Office of M. Bryon Barnhill PLLC. She has been a paralegal for over thirteen years and is a great liaison between attorney and client. Sherry does a tremendous job preparing client matters for court and works hard to provide the attorneys of the firm with the critical information necessary to obtain an excellent result for the client. Sherry's love for the legal profession appears to be multi-generational as she has a daughter who intends to pursue a law degree in the near future. Sherry is also a passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. She hails from California but relocated to Texas when her husband, Michael, was stationed at Ft. Hood. Sherry enjoys traveling and spending time with her family when not hard at work at the law office.Michelle Warriner
Michelle Warriner is a legal assistant at the Law Office of Bryon Barnhill. Michelle has been in the legal field for about 15 years and is currently part of our criminal division; she works closely with the clients and our attorneys to ensure their case is handled proficiently and professionally. Michelle is a native Texan and has resided in Central Texas most of her life. During Michelle's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and their German Shepherd, Lexi. Michelle especially enjoys watching her daughter's play softball in her free time.Bailey LaRue
Bailey LaRue is one of the receptionists at The Law Office of M. Bryon Barnhill, PLLC at the Waco location. Bailey has been a receptionist for four years and enjoys answering the phone and assisting the office and clients in daily interactions. Bailey has lived in Central Texas for the greater part of her life. You will likely find Bailey spending time outside with her dogs, being with family or painting when she is not working at the law office.
