M. Bryon Barnhill

M. Bryon Barnhill was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas on December 14, 1995, and has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since December 31, 2001. Mr. Barnhill is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and has been a Member of the College of the State Bar. Mr. Barnhill is also licensed to practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims. Bryon got his feet wet working for two different local attorneys, then went out on his own October 1, 1999. He has worked hard to develop a top of the line family/criminal/juvenile law practice in the local area and is now extending his practice to Business Law. He has noticed a need by local business owners for the one on one service, with attention to detail, that they can receive from a small firm. Due to the demand, Mr. Barnhill has recently expanded the business to include representing business owners, both large and small. He slowly and carefully put together what he feels is the top legal team in the area.

Taylor L. Floyd

Taylor L. Floyd is the Associate Attorney in this office. Taylor has been working with Mr. Barnhill in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, Business Law and some civil cases since February 2014.

Taylor was born in Houston, and was raised in Longview, TX. He graduated from Longview High School and then moved to Waco to attend Baylor University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and a minor in Religion.Taylor then completed an internship with Congressman Louie Gohmert from Texas District 1, in the congressman’s Washington, DC office.

After completing his congressional internship, Taylor earned his law degree fromTexas Tech University School of Law graduating in 2012. He was published in the Journal of Biosecurity, Biodefense, and Biotechnology during his time at Tech. Taylor was licensed to practice law in Texas in November 2013. He and Mr. Barnhill met during a Christian Men’s Ski-trip in January of 2014, known as the “Gorilla Skiers”, and he was hired shortly thereafter to move to Central Texas, and he makes his home in Temple.

Taylor was married January 17, 2015 to his lovely wife Alexandria, who is also an attorney. They are both really excited to be in Central Texas, and he is eager to continue to serve the people in this area with quality legal work.

Susan Wendele Chandler

Susan Wendele Chandler- Office Manager, Trained Mediator, Paralegal, Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Legal Assistant’s Division, since December 31, 1998. Graduated Phi Theta Kappa from CTC in 1992. Resident of the Harker Heights community since her arrival with her then military spouse and two sons in 1987. Susan has been working in the local legal community since before her graduation in 1992, and joined Bryon at ground zero beginning on October 1, 1999. Susan runs the office, billing, and directs all the family law cases. She also does all the screening, so chances are you will talk to her first when you call to schedule your initial consultation.
